The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale (SoSJ) has proposed changing the calculation of the rate for all properties in the Shire.

The SoSJ has called for comments from Rate Payers by 11:59PM on Monday, 11 July 2022.

Additionally, you can look up the actual and proposed minimum payments and ‘Rate in the dollar’ figures proposed by the SoSJ in the table below the Calculator. This table will show you what they are planning to change and the size of the differences.
The information provided in this calculator is based on the available information, including the proposed rates defined during the SoSJ meeting on 15 June 22. Please also be aware that last year the rates proposed from a similar meeting increased significantly due to Landgate revaluations. Therefore, the actual rate changes may ultimately differ from the current Council proposal.
