Trail Signage Project - 2026

The Trail Signage Project has been developed to improve navigation, accessibility, and safety throughout the DDEP trail network. As part of the project, 38 new signs have been installed across the trail system, introducing consistent trail names, location markers, and wayfinding information. These improvements help users confidently explore the area, plan routes, and communicate locations more effectively. The project also supports emergency response by providing clear reference points that can be easily shared when assistance is needed. Whether riding, walking, or enjoying the trails in other ways, visitors can now experience the network with greater confidence and ease.

The trails signage project was completed with support from the WA Government and Bendigo Bank.

To celebrate the completion of the Trail Signage Project, a community opening event will be held on 11 July 2026, providing an opportunity for trail users, volunteers, and community members to come together and recognise the project's success.
